In a TRMS Investigates exclusive, Rachel Maddow shows that the Department of the Interior is issuing deepwater drilling permits despite a report finding that blow-out preventer design is flawed and despite drilling companies submitting emergency response plans that pre-date the Deepwater Horizon spill and therefore reflect none of the lessons of that disaster.

Another Oil Spill in the Gulf
This time the source of the oil spill doesn't trace back to BT, but I thought it was important to share because oil is still leaking into the Gulf regardless.

Largest Environmental Disaster in the World, Why Does this Not Concern You?
We are living through the worst environmental disaster EVER. You read about ones that are one millionth of the size is text books. This one will definitely be in there. Why do people think that bad things can't happen to them? That is being arrogant. Look at the facts and open your eyes. I don't want to preach or push this on people but the lack of apathy towards the situation is horrible and quite frankly depressing. Maybe we do deserve what we have coming to us.
Sickening
The oil industry is out of control. The Ocean covers 75% of the Earth, and it is being destroyed so that our generation can live a great life in the short term? What about the long term and generations to come. We have no right to destroy the Earth just because we have an addiction to oil.
